The route
This 34-kilometer bike ride takes you past the Park of Laeken, the Meise Botanic Garden and the Land of Oppem, a nature reserve between Wolvertem and Oppem. An ideal trip for nature lovers! You are sure to spot some animals along the way 🐸 as well as cycling champion Eddy Merckx’s statue in Wolvertem.
If you’re a foodie, your heart will skip a beat at Mort Subite in Kobbegem. Popular with both tourists and locals, this brewery dates back to the 17th century. Please note that the guided tour requires advance reservation.
